A Message From the East

I would like to start by saying thank you to my brothers for having the confidence in me to elect me Worshipful Master of our lodge. I sincerely hope to be able to live up to your expectations and make this a great year for Worth Lodge #194.  I am looking forward to a great year for this lodge, although it is going to be a trying and tough year. We are planning on having at least 3 cooking’s as a fundraiser and I would also like to have another golf tournament as well. I want to encourage all Brothers to participate in all of the fundraisers, as these benefit the lodge and its members, mainly, but also helps get our name out into the community. Doing that helps us and helps promote the goodwill that is freemasonry along with providing enjoyment to the community, whether it be something good to eat or a good time and fellowship either cooking or on the golf course.

We have grown in numbers in the past couple of years and are starting this year off right with initiating 7 new candidates at the 1st meeting in February. It has been a chore to do this and I, as well as the other officers in the lodge have been looking forward to the challenge. I hope this early sign of membership continues throughout the year and beyond.
